Class Offerings
for the General Public

Welcome!

A few times per year Portland Hiking Therapy offers classes to the general public on the topics of:

  • Hiking & Mental Health

  • Nature & Mental Health

  • Ecopsychology

  • Privilege and Marginalization in the Outdoor Community

  • Hiking 101

Classes are offered in a variety of formats, and may take place in-person in Portland, online, or at local parks. Classes are not intended to be therapy or a replacement for mental health therapy, though some course content may be therapeutic in nature or educate about mental health principles or practices.

Join the email list to receive infrequent emails about upcoming classes. Portland Hiking Therapy offers a few classes per year. Most classes are experiential in their approach- meaning you may be up and moving, engaging with personal reflections, or trying out practices outdoors.

If you are a therapist seeking trainings, you can sign up for training emails here.
